What the job is

This is a job for a Cashier at Yogiberry, which is part of the Pedros family. The store is opening soon in Boksburg, Gauteng. You will be part of a new team helping to launch the store and create a great experience for customers. This is a permanent position where you will work in a fast-paced environment and grow with the brand.

What you will do

You will process customer orders and payments accurately using the POS system. You will handle cash, card, and digital payments and issue receipts. You will promote special offers and suggest additional products to customers. You will manage customer queues and resolve basic complaints or questions. You will keep the counter area clean and organized, balance cash at the end of your shift, and submit reports. You will also protect company assets and prevent losses.

What you need

You should have previous cashier or retail experience, though it is not required. You must have strong math skills and a professional appearance and attitude. You need to be honest, pay attention to detail, and handle stress well. Good communication and problem-solving skills are important, along with a focus on customer service and sales.
