What the job is

This is a full-time position for a Regional Network Owner at Maziv, based in Limpopo. The role focuses on managing and improving the fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) network, ensuring it meets high standards and remains reliable for customers.

What you will do

You will lead a team of Area Network Owners to handle all FTTH maintenance tasks. Your responsibilities include designing and implementing best practices for FTTH networks, solving problems, and planning maintenance schedules to keep the network running smoothly. You will also stay updated on new technologies in the FTTH space and train your team on these developments. Additionally, you will create standard operating procedures, measure compliance, and manage contractors working on the network. Ensuring cooperation between different teams and mitigating maintenance risks will also be part of your role.

What you need

You must have a Matric certificate (Grade 12 or NQF level 4) and a Diploma (NQF level 6). You should have up to 6 years of experience in a similar role. Knowledge of systems like Quick Base, Outlook, and MS Office Suite is required. Experience in IT customer relations and operations supervision is also necessary.
