What the job is
This is a position for an Apparel Inventory Planner at Pump and Abrasion Technologies, working under the Curve Gear division in Cape Town, Western Cape. The role focuses on managing clothing and footwear stock for retail stores, online sales, and warehouses to ensure products are available where and when they are needed.
What you will do
You will plan and manage stock levels across all stores and online channels, ensuring the right products are available in the right quantities and sizes. You will monitor sales trends, identify fast or slow-moving items, and recommend actions like replenishment or transfers between stores. You will also prepare reports on stock performance, analyze data to solve stock issues, and work with teams to improve inventory accuracy and flow. Additionally, you will support buying decisions, allocate new stock to stores, and communicate stock movements to warehouse and store teams.
What you need
You need experience in apparel, footwear, or retail inventory planning, along with a strong understanding of stock flow, replenishment, and store operations. You must be skilled in analyzing sales and stock data, using Excel or Google Sheets, and working with ERP or retail systems. Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly are essential. Experience with size curves, store grading, and product performance analysis is beneficial.
What you will get
