What the job is

This is a 4-month contract position for a Skin Therapist at Woolworths Hemingways in East London, Eastern Cape. The role is with Dermalogica, a leading global skincare brand. You will work in a retail store setting, helping customers with their skincare needs and promoting Dermalogica products.

What you will do

You will perform professional skin treatments and consultations following Dermalogica’s standards. You will meet monthly sales targets and track daily progress. You will conduct detailed skin consultations and Face Mapping for new clients, updating their records after each visit. You will assist customers with product purchases and follow up with them after treatments to check on their results. You will also help with store activities like meetings, workshops, stock management, and keeping the treatment area clean and well-stocked.

What you need

You must have a Skin Care Qualification at NQF Level 4, which requires at least 2 years of full-time study. You should have at least 2 years of experience as a Skin Care Therapist, though this is an advantage. You need to be available to work retail hours, including evenings and weekends. You should be passionate about sales, confident in engaging with customers, and self-motivated. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is also required.
