What the job is

This is a full-time Dispatch Supervisor role for the day shift at BCE FoodService Equipment in Roodepoort, Gauteng. The company operates in the hospitality industry and is looking for someone to manage the distribution of their products to customers efficiently and on time.

What you will do

You will supervise the day shift team to ensure products are accurately and quickly distributed to customers. You will manage staff, coordinate with other departments, and solve problems related to personnel, equipment, or processes. You will also oversee the pick and pack operations, driver supervision, and ensure safety and security of all company assets. Additionally, you will prepare reports, monitor inventory, and handle customer service issues promptly.

What you need

You must have a Grade 12 certificate or equivalent, and a relevant Bachelor’s Degree or work experience is preferred. Experience in warehouse operations, supervision, logistics management, and conducting disciplinary hearings is required. You should have a driver’s license, OHSA training, and preferably a First Aid Certificate and forklift certification. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with computer literacy in Microsoft Office, SAP, and Qwix.
