What the job is

This is a full-time Dispatch Supervisor role at BCE FoodService Equipment, based in Roodepoort, Gauteng. The company operates in the hospitality industry and is looking for a detail-oriented and energetic person to manage the day shift dispatch team. You will ensure products are distributed accurately and on time to customers while maintaining high standards and efficiency.

What you will do

You will supervise the day shift team to ensure smooth distribution of products to customers. This includes managing staff, coordinating with other departments, and resolving any issues that arise during the shift. You will oversee the picking, packing, and loading of goods, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. You will also supervise drivers, assign routes, and ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures. Additionally, you will prepare reports, manage inventory, and participate in stock takes and cycle counting.

What you need

You must have a Grade 12 certificate or equivalent, and a relevant Bachelor’s Degree or tertiary qualification with work experience is preferred. Experience in warehouse operations, supervision, and logistics management is essential. You should have a driver’s license, and certifications in First Aid, OHSA, and forklift operation are highly beneficial. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are required, along with computer literacy in Microsoft Office, SAP, and Qwix.
