What the job is

This is a graduate programme for Electrical Engineering, sponsored by Rand Refinery. The position is based in JHB East Rand, Gauteng. It is part of a Supplier Development Initiative aimed at giving unemployed graduates practical work experience in their field of study.

What you will do

You will work in a practical learning environment with a structured development plan. You will receive on-the-job training as part of a team focused on customer service. You will get regular feedback from mentors to help you improve. You will also take part in work-readiness training and development activities.

What you need

You must have completed Matric. You must have a qualification in Electrical Engineering at NQF Level 5, 6, or 7, with an overall average of 65%. You must be an unemployed graduate. You need to submit a CV, certified copies of your ID, Matric certificate, academic records, and qualifications. You must also provide an Excel spreadsheet showing your cumulative aggregate percentage across all your modules.

What you will get

This is a fixed-term contract for 12 to 18 months. You will gain valuable work experience in Electrical Engineering. The programme is designed to prepare you for the workforce with structured training and mentorship.
