What the job is

Motus Corporation is looking for a New Vehicle Sales Manager to work at their Multifranchise Centurion dealership in Pretoria, Gauteng. This role involves leading the new car sales team and ensuring the dealership meets its sales and profitability goals.

What you will do

You will manage and lead the new car sales team to meet sales targets and customer satisfaction goals. You will develop and implement sales strategies to maximize profitability and ensure the dealership has the right stock of vehicles. You will also monitor the financial performance of the sales department weekly, handle customer complaints effectively, and ensure vehicles are delivered according to quality and safety standards. Additionally, you will train sales executives on new models, control costs within the budget, and maximize the sale of additional products.

What you need

You need at least 5 years of experience in vehicle sales, with a strong background in new car sales. Experience in a sales management role, leading and motivating a team, is preferred. You must have a valid driver’s license, be computer literate, and understand dealership policies and industry competition. A Grade 12 certificate is required, and a relevant tertiary qualification in sales, marketing, or business management is an advantage. Knowledge of OEM target management and experience with Renault or similar brands is highly desired.
