What the job is

This is a job for a Junior or recently graduated Quantity Surveyor (QS) in Stellenbosch, Western Cape. What you will do

You will work as part of a team to assist with quantity surveying tasks. This includes measuring and costing construction projects, preparing bills of quantities, and helping with contract administration. You will also support senior surveyors in managing project budgets and ensuring costs are controlled. Additionally, you will learn about standard industry processes and software used in quantity surveying.

What you need

You must have a BSc or BTech degree in Quantity Surveying. No prior work experience is required, but any practical exposure to quantity surveying will be helpful. You should have basic knowledge of quantity surveying principles and be comfortable using Microsoft Excel and Word. Familiarity with QS software like DimX or WinQS is a plus. You must also have a valid driver’s licence and your own reliable vehicle. Strong numerical, analytical, and organisational skills are important, along with good communication and a willingness to learn.
