What the job is

Dermalogica South Africa is looking for a motivated and organized Store Manager to lead their retail store at Eastgate in Johannesburg, Gauteng. This is a permanent position where you will act as a Brand Ambassador, driving sales and ensuring the store meets its business goals. You will represent Dermalogica’s high standards in skincare and customer service.

What you will do

You will be responsible for meeting monthly sales and treatment revenue targets for the store. You will conduct detailed skin consultations and Face Mapping for new clients, keeping accurate records. You will follow up with customers after treatments and retail purchases. You will handle customer complaints, product returns, and ensure excellent customer service at all times. You will manage the point-of-sale system, daily staff schedules, and assist with staff training and assessments. You will also manage inventory, ensure the store is clean and well-stocked, and participate in promotions and company events. Additionally, you will maintain high personal hygiene and professional appearance, stay updated on all Dermalogica products and treatments, and follow company policies and procedures.

What you need

You must have a 3-year Skin Care diploma and at least 4 years of experience in a supervisory role. Experience with a high-end skincare brand is required, and prior experience with Dermalogica is a plus. You should be proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with all Dermalogica products, treatments, and policies. You must also be willing to attend regular training sessions and pass assessments.
