What the job is

This is a Multi-Skilled Civil Technician position at CBRE Excellerate, a leading company in commercial real estate services and investments. The company operates across Africa and the Middle East, offering facilities management, advisory, and project management services. The job is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and is a permanent role.

What you will do

You will perform multi-skilled civil maintenance and handyman tasks across managed facilities. This includes preventive, reactive, and corrective maintenance such as painting, flooring, basic carpentry, minor masonry, ceiling and partition repairs, silicone or sealant work, and general building maintenance. You will ensure high-quality work, follow health and safety rules, and deliver services on time. You will also assess maintenance needs, identify required materials and tools, and report any additional defects or unsafe conditions.

What you need

You should have a trade certificate in civil maintenance, carpentry, painting, or a related field, along with at least 3 years of experience in civil maintenance, facilities management, or handyman services. Experience in UAE commercial building maintenance is preferred. You must have practical skills in painting, flooring, basic carpentry, masonry, plastering, and general handyman work. Knowledge of maintenance systems, safety procedures, and work-order handling is also required.
