What the job is

This is a Junior Refrigeration Technician position at CBRE Excellerate, a leading company in commercial real estate services and facilities management. The job is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and involves working with refrigeration and air-conditioning systems in various managed facilities.

What you will do

You will support the maintenance of refrigeration and air-conditioning systems by performing routine servicing, basic fault finding, and repairs on units like DX units, freezers, cold rooms, VRV/VRF, and split systems. You will carry out assigned preventive and reactive maintenance tasks under supervision. You will also identify defective parts, recommend materials for replacement, and perform basic troubleshooting. Additionally, you will ensure safety standards are followed and report any unsafe conditions immediately.

What you need

You need a certificate or diploma in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, HVAC, or a related field. At least 2 years of hands-on experience in refrigeration or HVAC maintenance is required. You should have practical knowledge of DX units, split units, freezers, cold rooms, and preferably VRV/VRF systems. Skills in routine maintenance, basic fault finding, brazing, vacuuming, and refrigerant charging are essential. You must also understand safety procedures, including refrigerant safety and HSE requirements.
