What the job is
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract position for two OHS (Occupational Health and Safety) Graduates, sponsored by Rand Refinery. The programme is part of a socio-economic development initiative aimed at giving unemployed graduates practical work experience. The job is based in Johannesburg East Rand, Gauteng.
What you will do
You will join a structured development programme that offers hands-on training in a real work environment. You will receive on-the-job training as part of a team focused on customer service. You will get regular feedback from mentors and participate in work-readiness training to help you develop professionally. The programme follows a guided development plan to ensure you gain valuable experience in your field.
What you need
You must have completed Matric (Grade 12). You must also have finished one of the following qualifications with an overall average of 70%: a Higher National Certificate or National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, a BHSc in Occupational Hygiene, or a Bachelor of Environmental Health with a focus on occupational hygiene. You will need to submit a 2-page CV, certified copies of your ID, Matric certificate, academic records, and qualifications. Additionally, you must provide an Excel spreadsheet calculating your cumulative average across all modules studied.
