What the job is

Pepkor Lifestyle, under the OK Furniture brand, is hiring a General Assistant for their store in Mazabuka, Zambia. This is a permanent position where you will be part of a team that ensures the store runs smoothly and provides great service to customers.

What you will do

You will keep the store clean, including the kitchen, toilets, and shopping areas, following health and safety rules. You will unpack new stock, fill shelves, and help set up displays to make the store look attractive. You will also assist customers, solve any problems they have, and work well with your team to complete daily tasks. Additionally, you will report any damaged or missing stock and help with promotional activities.

What you need

You must have a Grade 12 Certificate (or equivalent). You need at least one year of experience working as a general worker or in a similar role. You should know basic health and safety rules for retail stores and understand good customer service practices. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage your time well are important. You should also be able to solve problems and work under pressure.

What you will get
