What the job is

This is a full-time Electrician position at CBRE Excellerate, a leading company in commercial real estate and facilities management services. The job is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and involves working on electrical maintenance for various managed facilities in the region.

What you will do

You will perform preventive and reactive electrical maintenance tasks, including planned maintenance of switchgear and distribution boards. You will conduct insulation-resistance testing, troubleshoot electrical faults, and carry out repairs. You will also ensure the safe restoration of electrical services by following health, safety, and electrical regulations. Additionally, you will diagnose electrical failures, recommend solutions, and escalate major issues to your supervisor when needed.

What you need

You must have a diploma or trade certification in Electrical Engineering or a related field. At least 3 years of experience in electrical maintenance, particularly with switchgear and distribution boards, is required. You should be skilled in using electrical testing tools like multimeters and clamp meters, as well as performing insulation-resistance testing. Knowledge of low-voltage systems, protective devices, and electrical safety procedures is essential.
