What the job is

This is a Graduate in Training position at Eskom, a leading company in the electricity, energy, and water supply industry. The job is based in Sunninghill, Gauteng, and is part of the Compliance & Regulation department within the Office of the Group Executive. Eskom is offering two internship opportunities for graduates to gain hands-on experience in this field.

What you will do

You will receive structured training and on-the-job learning to develop your skills in compliance and regulation. Your responsibilities will include working as part of a team, coaching and mentoring others, and focusing on customer needs. You will also need to demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and use your computer literacy to complete tasks accurately. Additionally, you will be expected to work independently with minimal supervision.

What you need

To qualify, you must have a completed Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Business Management, Information Systems, Quality Management, or Law at NQF Level 7 with 360 credits. No prior work experience is required, but you must be a South African citizen. Important skills include leadership, teamwork, integrity, professionalism, and honesty. You should also be familiar with Eskom’s policies and procedures.
