What the job is

This is a Talent Acquisition Specialist role at Weaver Fintech Ltd, a fast-growing fintech company based in Wynberg, Cape Town. The role is part of the People Team and focuses on finding, hiring, and retaining the best talent for the business.

What you will do

You will manage the entire hiring process, from planning and sourcing candidates to selecting, making job offers, and onboarding new employees. You will work closely with department heads to create hiring strategies that match the company’s growth goals. Your tasks will include posting job ads, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and negotiating job offers. You will also build a talent pipeline for future hiring needs, represent the company at career events, and ensure all hiring practices follow legal and company policies. Additionally, you will track hiring metrics, maintain recruitment records, and contribute to employer branding efforts.

What you need

You must have a Grade 12 certificate and a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or a related field. You need at least 5 years of experience in talent acquisition, including 2 years in contact centre recruitment. Experience in fintech, financial services, or digital technology is a plus. You should be skilled in using recruitment tools like LinkedIn Recruiter and Applicant Tracking Systems. Strong communication, planning, and decision-making skills are essential, along with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
