What the job is

This is a Warehouse Storeman position at VKB Group, a well-known agricultural company that supports farmers and produces food for consumers. The job is based in Douglas, Northern Cape, and is part of the GWK Retail team. What you will do

You will manage stock in warehouses and storage yards, ensuring that loading and offloading of goods are done correctly and safely. You will maintain accurate stock control, check that the right amounts of stock are available, and follow stock rotation procedures. You will also perform daily inspections to keep the premises clean and tidy according to company standards. Additionally, you will follow health and safety rules, assist with marketing agricultural products, and handle any other related tasks as needed.

What you need

You must have a Grade 12 certificate or an NQF Level 4 qualification. Previous experience in warehousing is preferred but not required. You should be detail-oriented, especially in stock management and housekeeping, and willing to undergo continuous training. Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work under pressure, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities are essential. Basic computer skills and conflict management skills are also important.
