What the job is

This is a permanent HR Manager position at Eskom, a leading company in the electricity, energy, and water supply industry. The role is based in Sunninghill, Gauteng, and involves managing human resources functions within the HR (ESCAP) department at Megawatt Park.

What you will do

You will lead and direct the HR function to improve all HR processes and practices in the business unit. You will ensure that HR policies and procedures are properly implemented and followed. You will provide integrated HR support and services to the business unit, monitor and enhance performance by aligning HR processes with the company’s goals, and manage HR resources such as staffing and finances.

What you need

You must have a Bachelor’s Degree or B Tech in Human Resources, Social Sciences, or Behavioral Sciences (NQF Level 7 with 360 credits). You need at least 7 years of experience in the full HR value chain. Key skills include knowledge of HR policies, change management, SAP HR, and HR legislation. You should also have strong leadership, communication, and project management abilities.
