What the job is

This is a full-time position for a Logistics Compliance Manager at Bidvest Prestige, based in Cape Town, Western Cape. The role focuses on ensuring that all logistics operations follow company policies, legal requirements, and internal standards to maintain efficiency and compliance.

What you will do

You will conduct monthly checks on transportation and logistics processes to ensure they meet company and legal standards. This includes reviewing vendor performance, monitoring vehicle documentation, and tracking compliance with contracts and regulations. You will also handle incident reports, corrective actions, and vendor evaluations to ensure all operations run smoothly. Additionally, you will prepare compliance reports, manage documentation, and support audits and training sessions for staff and vendors.

What you need

You should have 2 to 5 years of experience in logistics, transportation compliance, vendor management, or a related field. Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, data analysis, and compliance tracking tools are required. You must also have excellent attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once. Experience in a corporate transportation or BPO environment is preferred.
