What the job is

This is a full-time position for a Saw Machine Operator at The Building Company, located in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga. The role involves operating and maintaining saw machines in a retail environment to ensure smooth production and customer service.

What you will do

You will feed materials into the saw machine and adjust its settings as needed. You will also regulate the speed of the machine belt and control the temperature to ensure proper operation. Additionally, you will handle edge trimming and sanding to maintain product quality. Part of your duties includes assisting customers, keeping the workspace clean, and ensuring safety and security. You may also be asked to perform other tasks as needed and uphold the company’s values and culture.

What you need

To qualify, you must have a Grade 12 certificate (Matric). You also need at least 2 years of experience in a similar industry. The role requires attention to detail, the ability to work with machinery, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized workplace.
