What the job is

This is a contract position for a Senior Project or Programme Manager specializing in Microsoft Dynamics 365, offered by iqbusiness South Africa in Johannesburg, Gauteng. The role involves leading large-scale projects and programmes to implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions in complex environments with multiple vendors.

What you will do

You will manage end-to-end Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementations, from analysis and design to build, testing, deployment, and support. You will oversee multiple related projects and workstreams as part of a broader programme. Your responsibilities include setting up programme governance, managing budgets, tracking benefits, and engaging with stakeholders like executives, business teams, technology partners, and vendors. You will also handle risks, dependencies, and contracts, and ensure smooth integration, data migration, testing, and cutover across systems.

What you need

You must have at least 10 years of project management experience, with significant time spent in a senior role. You need proven programme management experience, including managing interdependent projects, governance, roadmaps, and budgets. You must have delivered multiple Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementations (such as Finance and Operations, Business Central, Customer Engagement, or Field Service) and be familiar with Microsoft methods like Sure Step or Success by Design. A PRINCE2 Practitioner or PMP certification is required, and a degree or diploma in Business Management, Computer Science, or related fields is advantageous. Agile certifications are a plus.
