What the job is

This is a Market Research Analyst position with Hire Resolve, working for a property development marketing client. The job is based in Umdloti, KwaZulu-Natal, and is a 6-month contract with the possibility of becoming permanent. The role involves providing market intelligence for residential, commercial, industrial, and mixed-use property developments.

What you will do

You will conduct market analysis across different property sectors and produce detailed insights and recommendations. You will perform gap analysis for proposed developments and create online surveys. You will analyze survey results and turn them into actionable insights. You will also produce area profiles and property market summaries. Additionally, you will manage research projects from start to finish, present findings, and support client presentations. You will guide junior researchers, ensure data accuracy, and use AI tools like Claude and ChatGPT to improve efficiency. You will work with property datasets such as Lightstone, SAPOA, Rode, and TPN.

What you need

You need a strong analytical mindset and the ability to interpret complex datasets. You should have experience in market research, project management, and data analysis. You must be able to provide technical guidance to junior team members and contribute to improving research standards. Mid-Senior level experience is required, and familiarity with AI tools and property datasets is a plus.
