What the job is

This is a full-time position for a Warehouse Picker at Amrod, a manufacturing company based in Woodmead, Gauteng. The role involves working in a warehouse to ensure products are picked, packed, and handled correctly to support smooth operations and keep customers happy.

What you will do

You will pick and pack products using a scanner to make sure orders are accurate. You must meet weekly productivity targets and ensure all products meet quality standards. You will pack goods carefully to prevent damage and help in other departments when needed. You must follow all health and safety rules, wear the required protective equipment, and keep your work area clean and organized. You will also report any safety issues to management.

What you need

You need a Matric certificate or equivalent qualification. You must have at least two years of experience working in a warehouse or a similar environment. You should know how to use Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), including scale WMS and Amtrack. Basic computer skills are a plus. You must be able to handle repetitive tasks, work with RF scanners, and be available for overtime, extended shifts, and weekends when required.
