What the job is

This is a Delivery Assistant position at Econo Foods, a fast-growing company that sells frozen foods and other everyday products. What you will do

You will help the driver deliver products to customers on time and make sure everything is correct. You will give customers a Proof of Delivery document to sign and help fix any mistakes on invoices. You will check payments if needed and assist with loading and unloading products safely. You will talk to customers in a friendly and professional way, help the driver find the best routes, and keep track of inventory and delivery paperwork. You will also make sure the delivery vehicle is clean, products are kept safe during delivery, and all safety rules are followed.

What you need

You must have a Matric certificate or equivalent. You need at least 2 years of experience working in warehousing or logistics, preferably in a food or retail company. You should be good at building relationships, working in a team, and communicating clearly in English. You must be detail-oriented, follow safety rules, manage your time well, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer skills, especially with Microsoft programs, are also required.
