What the job is

Dis-Chem Pharmacies is looking for a Health Merchandiser to work at their Boardwalk Mall store in Gqeberha/Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape. This is a permanent position where you will be responsible for maintaining the store’s merchandising standards and providing excellent customer service.

What you will do

You will restock merchandise as needed and ensure all delivered stock is stored and packed in the correct spaces. You must keep the full range of products on the shelves at all times and rotate stock on a First In First Out basis. You will also assist with stocktaking, maintain neat and visible product displays with correct labels and pricing, and handle customer stock queries. Additionally, you will help with back shopping and ensure the daily upkeep of the store and merchandise displays.

What you need

You must have a Grade 12/Matric certificate and up to 6 months of retail experience. Basic computer skills, especially in MS Office, are required. You should be willing and able to work retail hours. Having a diploma or degree in a health-related field and at least 1 year of retail experience would be an advantage. You must also be physically fit to lift heavy boxes and have reliable transport or live close to the store.
