What the job is

The Craft and Design Institute (CDI) is looking for a Programme Engagement Officer to join their team in Braamfontein, Johannesburg. This is a 12-month contract position for someone with experience in digital communications, marketing, and enterprise development. The role is based at the CDI’s Johannesburg office, with some remote work allowed.

What you will do

You will be responsible for running programme recruitment campaigns to attract participants. You will create and share content and communications related to the programmes, such as social media posts, emails, and other materials. You will manage and engage with the CDI membership community, ensuring they stay informed and involved. You will monitor CDI’s social media accounts, track reactions and engagement, and respond to queries about programme applications. Additionally, you will attend programme activities and create content to promote them, while also working closely with the CDI communications team.

What you need

To qualify for this role, you must have a diploma or qualification in communications, digital marketing, or a related field. You should have 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience. Strong skills in social media management, content writing, communication, marketing, stakeholder engagement, and project management are required. You will also need to submit your CV, an example of your best work promoting a product or service, and details about the tools you used to create it.

What you will get

This is a 12-month contract position with a salary of R3,000 per month. The role offers some flexibility with remote work allowed, and you will be based in Braamfontein, Johannesburg.
