What the job is

Dis-Chem Pharmacies is looking for a friendly and dedicated Cosmetic Consultant to join their team at the Table View store in Cape Town, Western Cape. In this role, you will help customers by promoting and selling beauty and cosmetic products while providing excellent service.

What you will do

You will assist customers with their beauty needs by demonstrating products through makeovers, cosmetic applications, and promotions. You will manage stock levels, report any shortages or damaged items, and ensure displays are attractive. You will also handle salon appointments, keep up with industry trends, and resolve customer complaints when needed. Additionally, you will follow all company policies, including health and safety rules.

What you need

You must have a Matric certificate and some experience working in retail sales. Computer skills are required, and you should be willing to work retail hours, including weekends and evenings. Experience in cosmetics, fragrances, or beauty is a plus. You need strong English communication skills, the ability to work in a team, and a good understanding of stock and sales reports. A valid driver’s license and your own transport are also required.
