What the job is

Dis-Chem Pharmacies is looking for a friendly and customer-focused Cosmetic Consultant to work at their store in Table View, Cape Town, Western Cape. This is a permanent job where you will help promote and sell beauty and cosmetic products to customers by providing great service.

What you will do

You will help customers by giving them advice on beauty products and doing makeovers or demonstrations. You will manage stock levels, report any shortages or damaged items, and make sure displays look attractive. You will also handle customer complaints, meet sales targets, and keep up with new products and trends. Additionally, you will manage salon appointments and follow all company policies and safety rules.

What you need

You must have a Matric certificate and some experience working in retail sales. You should be comfortable using computers and able to work retail hours, including weekends and evenings. It would be helpful if you have experience with cosmetics, fragrances, or beauty products. You must also have a valid driver’s license, your own transport, and a clear credit and criminal record. Good English skills, both written and spoken, are required.
