What the job is

This is a job for a Direct Motor Sales Call Centre Agent at Badger Holdings, working for dotsure.co.za in George, Western Cape. The company believes insurance should be simple, effective, and customer-friendly. You will be part of a team that turns phone conversations with customers into motor insurance sales.

What you will do

You will contact customers who have shown interest in motor insurance through the company’s dealer network. You will listen to their needs, provide personalized insurance quotes, and confidently ask them to buy a policy. When customers have doubts or objections, you will handle them professionally to keep the conversation going. You will also complete the underwriting process accurately, follow up on open leads, capture customer details correctly, and upsell other relevant products. Additionally, you will give clear feedback to the team that supports the dealer network.

What you need

You must have a Matric certificate as the minimum qualification. You need strong speaking and writing skills, as well as intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Experience in sales, especially handling objections and closing deals, is essential. You should be detail-oriented, able to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work well under pressure. Previous call centre, telesales, insurance, or financial services experience is a plus, as is the ability to speak additional South African languages. FAIS accreditation and a COB or higher qualification would also be beneficial.
