This is a job for an Engineering Field Service Supervisor at Pump and Abrasion Technologies, based in Emalahleni, Mpumalanga. The company operates in the mining and metals industry. The role is a permanent position where you will lead a team of field service technicians.

What you will do

You will supervise and lead a team of field service technicians. You will schedule and assign work orders to the team and make sure all tasks are completed on time, within budget, and to high quality standards. You will provide technical support and guidance to the technicians and conduct training and mentorship programs for them. You will also monitor and maintain field service equipment and tools, resolve customer complaints or issues professionally, and communicate effectively with customers, team members, and management. Regular reports on field service activities will be required.

What you need

You need a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field. You must have at least 5 years of experience in engineering field service, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential, along with excellent technical knowledge in engineering principles. You should be able to troubleshoot and solve complex technical issues and have experience working with various field service equipment and tools. Good organizational and time management skills are important, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You must be willing to travel as needed.
