What the job is
This is a Programme Manager position at Right To Care, a healthcare organization based in the Northern Cape. The role focuses on managing health programmes funded by private sources. The job is a contract position, and the company is part of the pharmaceutical and medical/healthcare industry.
What you will do
You will be responsible for the strategic management and day-to-day oversight of various health programmes. This includes managing relationships with stakeholders at provincial and district levels. You will ensure clinical oversight of information systems and oversee the administration and operations of direct service delivery programmes. Additionally, you will provide capacity building, implementation oversight, and full programme management, including handling contracts with the Department of Health and other partners. You will also design and develop new implementation strategies, manage their piloting and rollout in designated areas, and supervise regional coordinators and project managers.
What you need
You must have a degree in a health-related field or at least 7 years of relevant experience. A course in HIV Management is a plus. You should have a certificate in project management or a strong understanding of project management principles. Proficiency in English is required. You need computer literacy, report writing skills, good communication and interpersonal skills, networking abilities, and project management skills. Personal attributes include attention to detail, logical and analytical thinking, proactivity, innovation, the ability to work independently, and presentation or facilitation skills. You must have a valid driver’s license, own a car, and be willing to travel nationally on a regular basis.
