What the job is

This is a full-time position for a Data and Power BI Analyst / Developer at Bluespec Holdings in Pretoria, Gauteng. The role involves creating reports and dashboards in Power BI to help the company make better business decisions. You will work with both technical and business teams to provide accurate data insights.

What you will do

You will develop, test, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards, ensuring they are interactive and easy to use. You will write SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from different sources. You will also clean and prepare data, build data models, and check for data quality issues. Additionally, you will optimize report performance, set up data refresh schedules, and document all processes. You will support users in understanding and using the reports correctly.

What you need

You must have a Matric certificate and a relevant degree, diploma, or certification in fields like Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, or Business Intelligence. Experience with Power BI, SQL, data modeling, and data quality checks is required. You should be able to create data visualizations, maintain data models, and troubleshoot data issues.
