What the job is

This is a part-time position for a Flexi Store Assistant at Spitz, a luxury fashion and footwear retailer under AVI Limited. The store is located in Newcastle Mall, KwaZulu-Natal. Spitz is known for high-end brands like Carvela, Gianni Chiarini, Lacoste, and Nina Roche, as well as premium body sprays and scents. What you will do

You will provide excellent customer service by helping shoppers find the perfect products and ensuring a smooth shopping experience. Your duties include handling cash transactions accurately, managing daily cash control and banking processes, and performing manual transactions when needed. You will also execute daily stock procedures, assist with customer orders, conduct weekly stock counts, and keep the storeroom organized. Additionally, you will pair shoes to maintain stock integrity and uphold the brand’s luxury standards through professionalism and enthusiasm.

What you need

You must have a Matric or Grade 12 certificate. Previous retail experience, especially in luxury or fashion, is preferred, with at least 6 months to 1 year being ideal. You should have a passion for high-end fashion, footwear, and engaging with customers. Strong numerical skills and accuracy in handling transactions are essential. You must be detail-oriented, able to meet deadlines, and work well in a team. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and peak trading hours is required.
