What the job is

This is a job for an Affiliate Manager at The Make it Good Company, based in Johannesburg, Gauteng. The company works in the eSIM and international roaming industry, helping travelers stay connected worldwide. They have two main parts of the business: one that sells eSIMs to banks and global partners, and another that focuses on travel eSIMs for consumers. This role will mainly support the travel eSIM side. The company is growing quickly and needs someone to build and manage their affiliate program from scratch.

What you will do

You will be responsible for creating and managing the entire affiliate strategy. This includes running the affiliate platform, setting up commission structures, and bringing in new publishers. You will also check and approve affiliates to prevent fraud or low-quality traffic. Managing the affiliate budget and making decisions on high-value deals with major partners will be part of your role. Additionally, you will build and maintain relationships with partners globally, coordinate with the company’s PR agency when needed, and ensure the program scales effectively.

What you need

You must have hands-on experience running an affiliate program on a well-known platform like Awin or Impact. You should have a proven track record of growing an affiliate channel and be able to explain specific details of your success. Strong judgment in vetting partners and spotting fraud risks is essential. You need to be comfortable managing a budget and making commercial decisions. Resilience and strong communication skills are important, as you will be working in a fast-paced environment and building relationships with partners you may never meet in person.

What you will get

The salary ranges from R55,000 to R90,000 per month, cost-to-company, depending on your experience. There is also a strong performance bonus structure based on the growth you drive. The work model is hybrid, with two days a week in the office and core hours from 9 AM to 3 PM. You will have full ownership of the affiliate program and the opportunity to build it from the ground up in a fast-growing, well-funded company.
