What the job is

This is a full-time position for a Permanent Store Assistant at Spitz, a well-known luxury retail brand. Spitz is part of The Spitz Group under AVI Limited and is located at Carlton Centre in Johannesburg, Gauteng. The company specializes in high-end fashion brands like Carvela, Gianni Chiarini, Lacoste, Nina Roche, and Tosoni, as well as premium body sprays and accessories.

What you will do

You will handle cash desk duties, ensuring all transactions are accurate with zero errors. You will manage daily cash control and banking processes, including manual transactions. You will also perform daily stock procedures, manage customer orders, and conduct weekly stock counts. Additionally, you will organize the storeroom, pair shoes for display, and maintain store presentation. Providing excellent customer service, offering styling advice, and building strong customer relationships will also be part of your role.

What you need

You must have a Matric or Grade 12 certificate. At least 6 months to 1 year of retail experience, preferably in luxury or fashion retail, is required. You should have a passion for high-end fashion, footwear, and customer engagement. Strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment are essential. You must also be a team player with a natural ability to build relationships and engage with customers.
