What the job is

This is a full-time position for a Permanent Store Assistant at Spitz, a luxury retail brand under AVI Limited. The job is based at the Westgate store in Roodepoort, Gauteng. Spitz sells high-end fashion brands like Carvela, Lacoste, and Nina Roche, and is looking for someone who loves premium retail and providing excellent customer service.

What you will do

You will handle cash desk duties, making sure all transactions are accurate with no mistakes. You will manage daily cash control and banking, including manual transactions. You will also take care of stock by doing daily stock procedures, managing customer orders, and doing weekly stock counts. You will pair shoes to keep displays and stock organized. Additionally, you will provide a premium shopping experience by sharing product knowledge, building customer relationships, and giving styling advice.

What you need

You must have a Matric or Grade 12 certificate. You should have at least 6 months to 1 year of retail experience, preferably in luxury or fashion retail. You need a passion for high-end fashion, footwear, and engaging with customers. Strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines are important. You should also be a team player who can build relationships and work well with others.
