What the job is

This is a Senior Project Manager role at The Make it Good Company, based in Johannesburg, Gauteng. What you will do

You will manage projects from start to finish for multiple clients. This includes creating and managing project plans with clear timelines, deadlines, and deliverables. You will keep projects on track by managing workflows and spotting risks early. You will work with the traffic and operations teams to manage resources effectively. You will ensure that client service, creative, and production teams are aligned and informed. You will maintain accurate records in project management systems and reports. You will lead status meetings and ensure follow-through on actions. You will use project management tools like Wrike to improve visibility and control. You will also introduce and support new systems and processes to improve efficiency.

What you need

You need at least 5 years of project management experience in an agency or similar environment. You must have a proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders at the same time. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are essential. You should be a confident communicator who can drive accountability across teams. A proactive mindset and a strong sense of ownership are important. You should be comfortable working with data, timelines, and resource planning. Experience with project management tools like Wrike is a bonus. You should also be calm under pressure and focused on solutions when things get busy.

What you will get

The salary for this role is between R50,000 and R60,000 per month, cost-to-company. You will work in a hybrid model with flexibility to work from home two days a week.
