What the job is

This is a Facilities Manager position at CBRE Excellerate, a leading company in commercial real estate services. What you will do

You will oversee a team responsible for building operations and maintenance. Your duties include supervising and training employees, conducting performance evaluations, and managing hiring processes. You will schedule and assign daily tasks, coordinate facility repairs, and manage capital projects and operating budgets. Additionally, you will approve vendor relationships, review price quotes for procurement, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

What you need

You need a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, along with 6 to 10 years of experience in facility management. Preferred qualifications include a Facility Management certification and experience in staffing, training, and performance management. Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills are required, as well as knowledge of building operations, budget management, and safety regulations.
