What the job is

This is a Facilities Manager position at CBRE Excellerate, a leading company in commercial real estate services and investments. The job is based in Abidjan, Cote D'Ivoire, and involves managing building operations and maintenance for medium to large facilities. What you will do

You will lead a team responsible for overseeing building operations and maintenance for one or more facilities. Your duties will include supervising and training employees, conducting performance evaluations, and managing hiring processes. You will also schedule and assign daily tasks, coordinate facility repairs and maintenance, and manage capital projects and operating budgets. Additionally, you will approve vendor relationships, review price quotes for procurement, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

What you need

You should have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, along with 6 to 10 years of experience in facility management. Preferred qualifications include a Facility Management certification and experience in staffing, training, and performance management. Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as knowledge of building operations, budget management, and environmental health and safety procedures.
