What you will do

You will oversee a team responsible for building operations and maintenance. Your duties include managing repairs, investment plans, and daily activities of the team. You will also handle capital projects, operating budgets, and vendor relationships. Additionally, you will supervise, train, and develop employees, conduct performance evaluations, and approve procurement processes.

What you need

You should have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, along with 6 to 10 years of experience in facility management. Preferred qualifications include a Facility Management certification and experience in leadership, staffing, and performance management. Strong skills in leadership, problem-solving, financial calculations, and vendor management are required. Knowledge of building operations, safety procedures, and local regulations is also essential.
