What the job is

This is a Facilities Manager position at CBRE Excellerate, a leading company in commercial real estate services. The job is based in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire. CBRE Excellerate specializes in providing high-quality real estate services, including facilities management, project management, and advisory services to corporate clients across Africa and the Middle East.

What you will do

You will manage a team responsible for overseeing the operations and maintenance of medium to large facilities. Your duties will include supervising and training employees, conducting performance evaluations, and managing daily team activities. You will also coordinate facility repairs, manage capital projects and budgets, approve vendor relationships, and review price quotes for procurement. Additionally, you will support client managers with repair and investment plans.

What you need

You should have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, along with 6 to 10 years of experience in facility management. Preferred qualifications include a facility management certification and experience in staffing, training, and performance management. Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills are required, as well as knowledge of building operations, budget management, and safety regulations.
