What the job is

This is a job for a General Maintenance, Admin, and Driver at Badger Holdings in George, Western Cape. The role involves keeping the company’s buildings, outdoor areas, and facilities in good condition, as well as providing driving support when needed. What you will do

You will perform general maintenance tasks such as repairs, painting, plumbing, and carpentry. You will also keep walkways, parking areas, and workspaces clean and safe. Part of your job will include moving furniture, managing tools and equipment, and tracking stock in the storeroom. Additionally, you will drive company vehicles to transport employees, guests, and materials, as well as maintain vehicle records and ensure vehicles are clean and roadworthy.

What you need

You must have experience in general maintenance, gardening, or handyman work. A valid South African Code B driver’s licence and at least 5 years of driving experience are required. You should have a good driving record, basic computer skills, and the ability to communicate well in English. Physical fitness is important, as the job involves hands-on tasks and lifting. A clear criminal record is also necessary.
