What the job is

This is a full-time Compliance Officer position at Eskom, a leading company in the electricity, energy, and water supply industry. The job is based in Sunninghill, Gauteng, at Megawatt Park. You will work in the Legal, Regulatory, and Compliance department, supporting the Office of the Chief Executive by ensuring the company follows all rules and regulations.

What you will do

You will work closely with different business units to understand and improve their processes. Your role includes providing support to integrate compliance effectively and efficiently. You will also implement best practices and controls to ensure the company meets all legal and regulatory standards. Additionally, you will provide customer service to internal and external stakeholders as part of your daily tasks.

What you need

You must have a National Diploma in Law, Real Estate, Finance, Auditing, Engineering Sciences, or Human Resources (NQF Level 6 with 240 credits). You also need at least 3 years of experience in governance, risk management, regulatory compliance monitoring, reporting, or project management. Strong skills in communication, analytical thinking, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) are required. You should also have knowledge of regulatory prescripts, King IV, business processes, and compliance principles.
