What the job is

This is a full-time position for a Regional Manager at Rohlig-Grindrod, a company in the logistics and supply chain industry. The job is based in Cape Town, Western Cape, and involves overseeing operations in the region.

What you will do

You will develop and implement regional strategies and business plans. You will organize and optimize resources, provide leadership, and manage the regional budget and finances. You will also handle business development, sales management, and customer relationship management. Additionally, you will oversee contract logistics and warehouse operations, ensure compliance, and follow quality management system requirements.

What you need

You must have a Grade 12 certificate and a FIATA diploma or a 3-year qualification in freight forwarding at NQF level 7 or equivalent. You need at least 10 years of experience in the freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain industry, with at least 5 years in a senior or regional management role. Key skills include strategic thinking, financial analysis, leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving. You should also have knowledge of international trade, CRM, INCO terms, and logistics practices.
