What the job is

This is a Cook position at Empact Group in Vredenburg, Western Cape. The company is part of the food and beverage industry and is looking for someone to join their team on a fixed-term contract basis.

What you will do

You will prepare food for daily kitchen production to ensure quality food service is provided. You will follow food safety standards and handle special diet requirements. You will work as part of a team to deliver excellent customer service and communicate effectively with others. You will also manage tasks under pressure to meet daily demands.

What you need

You must have at least 2 years of experience as a Cook in a contract catering environment. Customer service experience is required, and you must have completed Matric (Grade 12). A Professional Cookery certificate will be an advantage. You should have knowledge of food safety standards, good communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team.
