What the job is

This is a Web Developer position at Interfront SOC Ltd., a company based in Pretoria, Gauteng. The role is permanent and involves working on custom software development projects for enterprise-level web applications.

What you will do

You will maintain and improve existing software features and develop new components to meet business needs. You will work with business analysts and other teams to turn requirements into practical solutions. Your tasks will include optimizing and refactoring code for better performance, writing unit and integration tests, and creating technical documentation. You will also analyze and fix defects, assist with software deployment, and help improve development standards. Senior candidates may mentor junior developers.

What you need

You need a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or a Matric certificate with at least 5 years of hands-on development experience in a custom software environment. Strong skills in .NET C# and experience with Angular, ASP.NET, HTML5, and React are required. You should understand RESTful frameworks, web security principles (OWASP), and have experience with SQL, Azure, and DevOps tools. Knowledge of financial or tax-related systems is a plus.
