What the job is

This is a job for a Chief Marketing and Business Development Officer at SNG GrantThornton, a company based in Midrand, Gauteng. What you will do

You will create and carry out marketing and business development plans that match the company’s goals. This includes managing the firm’s brand, improving its reputation, and finding new ways to grow the business. You will lead campaigns, digital marketing, and efforts to bring in new clients. You will also work with different teams to make sure marketing and business development activities are well-coordinated. Additionally, you will manage budgets, track performance, and ensure the firm stays visible in the market through events, publications, and online presence.

What you need

You need at least 7 to 10 years of experience in marketing, business development, or a similar field, with 4 to 5 of those years in a senior leadership role. A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Management, or a related field is required, and a postgraduate degree or professional certification will be an advantage. You should have strong skills in digital marketing, brand management, and business growth strategies. Experience in professional services, like accounting, is preferred.
