What the job is

Faircape Management Services (FMS) is a leading company in managing sectional title and homeowners’ associations in the Western Cape. They are looking for an experienced Portfolio Manager to join their team in Claremont, Cape Town. This role involves managing residential schemes and ensuring high-quality service for trustees, owners, and residents.

What you will do

You will manage a portfolio of sectional title and homeowners’ association schemes. You will build strong relationships with trustees and stakeholders, prepare and attend trustee and Annual General Meetings, and ensure all resolutions are implemented on time. You will also coordinate maintenance, oversee staff, assist with budgeting and financial planning, and ensure compliance with relevant laws. Additionally, you will provide guidance on financial statements and improve scheme performance.

What you need

You should have experience as a Sectional Title Portfolio Manager, strong knowledge of sectional title laws, and experience managing multiple residential schemes. A degree in Property Studies or a similar field is advantageous, along with a Paddocks or other recognized qualification. You must have excellent communication, organizational, and conflict resolution skills. A valid driver’s license, own transport, and a clear criminal and credit record are required.
