What the job is

This is a Supply Chain Coordinator position at takealot.com’s Fulfilment Solutions (TFS) in Cape Town, Western Cape. TFS is a leading company in e-commerce logistics in South Africa, using advanced technology to handle over 30 million orders every year. You will be part of a team that helps businesses grow by improving how products are stored, packed, and delivered to customers.

What you will do

You will serve as the main contact between Customer Service and the TDT delivery hubs to solve any issues or questions that come up. You will regularly check the performance of the TDT hubs and report any problems to the right people so they can be fixed quickly. You will suggest improvements to management to make processes better and ensure customers are happy. You will create reports to keep hubs, franchisees, and managers updated on their performance. You will also enter data into systems to keep delivery information current and perform quality checks on the data.

What you need

You must have a Matric (Grade 12) certificate and a Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain or Logistics. You need at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role. Strong skills in English reading, writing, and communication are required, along with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook. You should be organized, detail-oriented, and able to solve problems by analyzing information. You must also be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, including weekends and overtime when needed.
